Apply NowThis opportunity is for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized services in a K-12 school setting located in Citrus Heights, CA. The position is a contract for the current school year (CSY), serving a diverse student population requiring speech and language support.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to specific goals
- Provide targeted therapy sessions addressing speech and language challenges
- Monitor, track, and document student progress meticulously
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including educators and healthcare professionals, to ensure cohesive support
- Engage families in the therapeutic process to foster understanding and progress
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations strongly preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting
- Active licensure approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology in the relevant state is required
