This opportunity seeks a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide expert support within a K-12 school setting located in Citrus Heights, CA. The position is a contract role for the current school year (CSY), offering a dynamic environment to impact the speech and language development of school-aged children.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive evaluations of students presenting speech and language disorders
  • Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans aligned with student needs
  • Leading therapy sessions aimed at achieving specified speech and language objectives
  • Monitoring and maintaining detailed documentation of student progress and outcomes
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care approaches
  • Involving and educating families in therapy strategies to support progress

Qualifications desired:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in California
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, families, and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

To be eligible, candidates must hold an active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology and have obtained or be in the process of obtaining their Master’s degree or higher.
