We are seeking two skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide essential services in a K-12 educational setting located in Clam Gulch, AK. This full-time, full school year contract opportunity offers a unique chance to support students' speech and language development within a vibrant school community. The position is ideal for SLPs holding certifications such as CCC or those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) with CCC or CFY status
  • Experience working with students in grades K-12 preferred
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills in a school environment
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families
  • Willingness to travel and serve in a remote location

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students
  • Provide direct speech therapy and intervention services to students across K-12 grade levels
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to enhance student communication skills
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all regulatory and school district requirements
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
