An opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) interested in school-based settings supporting K-12 students in Clarksville, Arkansas. This contract position, spanning the upcoming school year, offers a dynamic environment where pediatric-focused professionals can contribute meaningfully to student development in a collaborative school district.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and attendance at relevant meetings
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Participating in treatment sessions and conducting evaluations under supervision
  • Preparing and maintaining detailed reports and documentation
  • Delivering direct and indirect services aligned with caseload needs

Preferred qualifications and experience:

  • Active or pending Arkansas license or eligibility to apply for licensure
  • Certification as an SLPA, with experience or interest in pediatrics and school systems
  • Prior school experience is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Commitment to providing quality assessment, treatment, and documentation
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Full-time position; part-time arrangements may be considered by the district
