Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify student needs.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Providing individual and group therapy sessions focusing on articulation, language comprehension, and communication skills.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to optimize student outcomes.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress, and treatment strategies.
- Participating in professional development and team meetings.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred.
- Familiarity with various treatment approaches, including AAC, PROMPT, and social communication interventions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently with organized record-keeping and time management.
