A K-12 educational setting in Clovis, NM is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to contract throughout the upcoming school year. This role focuses on providing comprehensive speech and language services to support student communication development and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed speech and language evaluations to identify individual student needs
  • Develop and implement customized treatment plans targeting specific speech and language goals
  • Provide direct therapy sessions to enhance communication skills
  • Monitor, document, and report on student progress with accuracy and consistency
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and other multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care
  • Involve and educate families about therapy goals and strategies to support progress at home

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in New Mexico
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience with pediatric and school-aged populations strongly desired
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students, families, and staff
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team
  • Must maintain an active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology
