A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a K-12 school setting serving PreK through 8th grade students. This part-time contract position offers a caseload of approximately 20 students and requires service two days per week. Located in Collinsville, IL, this role is ideal for candidates holding certification as an SLP with experience in pediatrics, healthcare, and school environments.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience working with pediatric populations (SLP-Pediatrics)
  • Familiarity with healthcare settings related to speech-language pathology (SLP-Healthcare)
  • Completion or near completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY)
  • Background in providing speech-language services in K-12 schools (SLP-School)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations for PreK-8 students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for a caseload of approximately 20 students
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and related service providers to support student communication development
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district policies
  • Participate in professional development opportunities as needed

Additional Details:

  • Part-time schedule, 2 days per week
  • Contract position for the school year
  • Option to combine caseload with a neighboring district for candidates interested in full-time employment
