A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist is sought to provide essential communication services in a K-12 school setting for the upcoming school year. This role focuses on supporting students with diverse needs, ensuring that each child receives the guidance necessary to enhance their learning experiences through effective communication strategies.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree (M.S. / M.A.) in Communication Disorders
- Licensed or license-eligible for the state of IN
- ASHA CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Experience as a School-Based or Pediatric-Focused SLP
- Strong collaboration skills with other Special Education Professionals
Location:
- Columbia City, IN
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to assess students’ communication skills
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with special education staff to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom
- Maintain documentation and participate in team meetings as required
- Manage a caseload of 80-90 students using a 3:1 service delivery model
