A qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought for the 2026-2027 school year to serve K-12 students in a Columbia, SC school setting. This onsite contracting opportunity entails working 35 hours per week, providing specialized speech and language support to meet the diverse needs of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations for students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student communication goals.
- Provide direct therapy services addressing speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid SLP certification with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working with K-12 populations in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and staff.
- Ability to work independently and manage caseload effectively.
