A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available within a K-12 school setting in Columbiana, AL. This contract role is scheduled for the current school year, with an anticipated duration through May 23, 2025. The position requires serving students across three separate schools: Chelsea Middle, Chelsea High, and Columbiana Middle. The role is onsite and involves a 37.5-hour workweek.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working as an SLP in educational settings (K-12)
  • Ability to manage caseloads across multiple school sites effectively
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with educators and families
  • Knowledge of school-based speech-language services and related legal requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct therapy to students at Chelsea Middle, Chelsea High, and Columbiana Middle schools
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts

Location: Columbiana, Alabama (Onsite at Chelsea Middle, Chelsea High, and Columbiana Middle schools)
