Speech Therapist in Columbus, IN

An opportunity exists for a dedicated candidate to provide vital therapeutic services in an educational setting. This position focuses on supporting Pre-K students with a range of speech and language needs, fostering their communication skills from August 2025 to May 2026.

Location: Columbus, IN

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized speech language therapy plans.
• Assess and diagnose students’ speech and language abilities through formal and informal evaluations.
• Create and maintain detailed reports reflecting student assessments and progress.
• Work collaboratively with a diverse team to enhance students’ communication skills.
• Support students with moderate to severe disabilities, ages 2 to 22, in their therapeutic goals.
• Engage with parents and staff to discuss IEP objectives and student development.

Qualifications:

• Indiana Professional License (IPLA) and teacher’s license from the Department of Education (IDOE).
• 1-2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in a team.
• Flexibility and problem-solving abilities to address varying student needs.
