A Speech-Language Pathologist with certification of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) and School Speech-Language Pathology certification is sought for a full academic school year contract position serving students from kindergarten through grade 12 in a K-12 educational setting in Columbus, Nebraska. This role involves delivering speech and language services to support students' communication development and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individualized assessments and screenings to identify speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to student goals
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support each student's communication progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress
  • Provide consultative services to teachers and staff regarding speech and language strategies

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association)
  • Certification for school-based speech-language pathology practice
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings, preferably K-12
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration
  • Ability to adapt therapy approaches to diverse student needs
