A Speech-Language Pathologist with certification of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) and School Speech-Language Pathology certification is sought for a full academic school year contract position serving students from kindergarten through grade 12 in a K-12 educational setting in Columbus, Nebraska. This role involves delivering speech and language services to support students' communication development and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individualized assessments and screenings to identify speech and language needs
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to student goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support each student's communication progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress
- Provide consultative services to teachers and staff regarding speech and language strategies
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association)
- Certification for school-based speech-language pathology practice
- Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings, preferably K-12
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to diverse student needs
