A K-12 school in Columbus, OH is seeking two full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for contract positions through the current school year. These roles provide a unique opportunity to support students in an educational setting with manageable caseloads.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech and language services tailored to children within grades K-12
- Providing evaluations, therapy, and progress monitoring for caseloads of no more than 60 students
- Collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to create effective individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Using teletherapy options when applicable to enhance service delivery
- Maintaining clear documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working with pediatric populations in schools or healthcare settings
- Ability to manage a full caseload efficiently and thoughtfully
- Familiarity with teletherapy modalities a strong plus
- Must hold Speech-Language Pathologist licensure appropriate for Ohio
Work schedule features consistent hours for both positions: 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, supporting elementary school students. These hours provide a balance between work and personal time, while still meeting school needs.
