A dynamic opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential support within a K-12 educational setting in Commerce City, CO. This contract position spans the current school year (CSY) and focuses on delivering high-quality speech and language services to students.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working as an SLP within school environments, specifically K-12 settings
- Proficiency in assessing, diagnosing, and implementing individualized therapy plans for diverse student populations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Location:
- Commerce City, Colorado
- Serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Develop, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions tailored to individual student needs
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student communication goals
- Maintain detailed and compliant documentation of all student interactions and therapy sessions
- Contribute to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs)
