An exciting opportunity awaits for a skilled professional specializing in speech-language pathology within an elementary school setting. This contract position runs for the full school year, catering to students with communication disorders.

Sweet Home, OR

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • CCC-SLP or CF-SLP certification
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably in a school setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and their treatment strategies

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose communication disorders in students
  • Develop and implement appropriate therapy plans based on individual student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to support students' goals
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation for IEPs
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and needs
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities
