Support K-12 students in a dynamic school setting as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a temporary leave contract in Corvallis, OR. This role provides the opportunity to deliver essential speech and language therapy services to children across all grade levels, assisting in their academic and communicative development during the leave period.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP licensure or certification appropriate for school settings
  • Experience working with K-12 student populations
  • Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, parents, and students
  • Knowledge of school-based therapy regulations and documentation requirements

Position Details:

  • Location: Corvallis, Oregon
  • Duration: September 10 to November 5
  • Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
  • Student Population: Kindergarten through 12th grade

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and provide direct speech and language therapy to students exhibiting communication disorders
  • Develop and update individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the educational team
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Communicate regularly with educators and families regarding student goals and outcomes
  • Maintain compliance with all school and regulatory standards in documentation and service delivery
