An opportunity is available for a skilled professional specializing in speech-language pathology within an elementary school setting. This position is designed to support students for the full semester, focusing on enhancing communication skills and addressing various speech disorders.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working with children in a school setting
  • Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals

Location:

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech therapy
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with identified speech and language impairments
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to facilitate students’ communication goals
  • Monitor and document student progress through regular assessments
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student outcomes and interventions
