Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification (CCC-SLP)
- Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Experience working with K-12 students
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and assessments
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Location:
- Warwick, RI
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement IEP goals
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions in alignment with students' needs
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and participated in required meetings
- Develop and adapt instructional materials to support therapy objectives
- Promote effective communication strategies among students and staff
