A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Cranston and Pawtucket, RI, providing essential services across one elementary school and one early learning center. This position is ideal for professionals seeking a contract role during the current school year (CSY), with guaranteed hours to ensure consistent scheduling.

Key responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders among students, collaborating with teachers and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines. This role primarily supports children in an educational setting, focusing on improving communication skills that enhance academic and social success.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC preferred
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for SLP license holders
  • Experience working in elementary school or early childhood education settings is advantageous
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, parents, and educators
