School Speech Language Pathologist - Cypress, Texas

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available to support middle school students in Cypress, TX. This contract role offers a caseload of approximately 60 students, providing opportunities to make a meaningful impact during the current school year (CSY).

Responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in middle school students. Candidates will collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create individualized treatment plans and facilitate student progress. The position requires 7.5 hours of work per day within a school setting.

Desired qualifications or experience:

• Licensed or certified as an SLP or SLPA, with relevant state credentials
• Experience working in a school or educational environment, preferably middle school level
• Ability to manage a caseload of up to 60 students effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and coordinate care
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapy practices and educational standards
• Teletherapy experience is a plus but not required
