This position offers an opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in pediatric and school-aged populations within a K-12 educational setting in Davis, CA. This contract role spans the full school year and focuses on delivering high-quality speech and language services to students while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students presenting with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Provide targeted therapy sessions aimed at achieving specific speech and language milestones
- Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
- Work collaboratively with educators, healthcare providers, and families to support student success
- Educate and engage families to foster understanding and involvement in the therapeutic process
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in speech-language pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred
- Experience working with pediatric populations or in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and team members
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
To qualify, candidates must have an active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology and hold or be in the process of obtaining a Master’s degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology.
