A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the upcoming school year in the Dayton, OH area, serving K-12 students. This contract role offers a dynamic opportunity to work within a supportive educational environment, primarily serving students with autism across kindergarten through high school.

Location: Dayton, Ohio (Onsite)
Schedule: Full-time, 7.5 hours per day
Assignment: 3 days at Yoder Learning Center in West Liberty, 2 days at Triad
Start Date: ASAP
Job Duration: Current School Year (CSY)
Daily Start Time: Typically 7:30 AM, subject to slight variation depending on district requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to students primarily diagnosed with autism, from kindergarten through high school.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals accordingly.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and reports in compliance with school and state regulations.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology licensure or certification (SLP, CCC preferred).
  • Experience working with children on the autism spectrum in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple school sites.
  • Commitment to student-focused therapy and collaborative education.
