Qualifications:
- Valid Georgia state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in school settings
- Proficiency in teletherapy practices
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) and related documentation
Location:
Stone Mountain, GA
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address the unique needs of each student
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' overall development
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy techniques as necessary
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
- Offer guidance and resources to educators and parents regarding speech and language development
