A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is sought to provide specialized support within a K-12 educational setting in Denver, CO. This contract position spans the full 2025-2026 school year, focusing on early childhood education caseloads.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment plans tailored to students from early childhood through grade 12.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to integrate speech therapy goals into classroom activities.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning.
- Implement evidence-based interventions to support students’ communication development.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in early childhood education.
- Strong understanding of speech and language development, assessment tools, and therapy techniques.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
Location: Denver, Colorado
Work Schedule: Full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE), 7.5-hour workdays
