A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a middle school located in the Denver area (east side of the city). This role supports students at Columbia Middle School, serving a caseload of approximately 25 to 45 students. The contract is for the current school year, beginning January 7, 2026, and ending May 21, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to middle school students in an on-site setting.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders.
- Collaborate with educators and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and parent conferences as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure.
- Active Colorado Department of Education certification.
- Experience working in school settings preferred.
- Ability to manage a caseload ranging from 25 to 45 students.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Additional Details:
- Position is part-time, with 20 to 25 hours per week; schedule is to be determined.
- This is an on-site role; virtual or hybrid arrangements are not available.
- The position is contract-based for the current school year.
