Job Type Contract

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) and school-based experience is needed to provide specialized services in a K-12 educational setting. This full academic year contract position is located in Derry, NH, supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students across all grade levels
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Provide direct therapy services targeting articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to interventions and accommodations for students with speech and language challenges

Qualifications:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • School-based licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working with school-age children (K-12)
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, strategies, and interventions in educational settings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with students, families, and school staff
  • Ability to manage caseload efficiently and maintain thorough documentation

Location: Derry, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Full academic year contract (NSY)
