A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at an elementary school located in Des Moines, IA. This contract position spans the current school year (CSY) and focuses on providing essential speech and language services to support the development and success of young students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary-aged children.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student evaluations and therapy sessions.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) development.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working in school-based settings, ideally with elementary students.
