A full-semester contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services in a K-12 school setting in Detroit, MI. This role focuses on delivering both in-person and teletherapy interventions to support students’ communication and language development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in students across kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
- Provide teletherapy sessions using approved virtual platforms.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and regulations.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure and certification.
- Experience working in school settings, especially serving K-12 populations.
- Proficiency in teletherapy methods and technologies.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Location: Detroit, Michigan
Duration: Full semester contract
