Job Type Contract

A full-semester contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services in a K-12 school setting in Detroit, MI. This role focuses on delivering both in-person and teletherapy interventions to support students’ communication and language development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in students across kindergarten through 12th grade.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
  • Provide teletherapy sessions using approved virtual platforms.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and regulations.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure and certification.
  • Experience working in school settings, especially serving K-12 populations.
  • Proficiency in teletherapy methods and technologies.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
