This full-time position supports Preschool and Elementary students in a K-12 school setting located in Detroit, MI. The role involves providing Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services throughout the academic school year, focusing on early childhood and elementary populations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy to students in preschool and elementary grades.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement tailored Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Utilizing teletherapy platforms when necessary to ensure consistent service delivery.
  • Monitoring student progress and maintaining detailed clinical documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.
  • Providing support to students with diverse communication needs, including pediatric and healthcare-related speech disorders.

Desired qualifications and experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Eligibility for or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
  • Experience working in school settings with preschool and elementary-aged children.
  • Skilled in teletherapy service delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language development.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
