A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought to provide vital therapy services at an elementary school setting from February through the end of the current school year. This position is ideal for professionals experienced in pediatric speech-language therapy, dedicated to supporting students' communication needs in a K-12 educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion or equivalent experience
  • Expertise in pediatric speech and language disorders
  • Experience with teletherapy service delivery is a plus
  • Ability to provide services aligned with educational standards and goals
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills within a school-based team

Location: Detroit, MI
Setting: K-12 School
Duration: Contract School Year (CSY), February through June

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting speech and language assessments and evaluations for elementary school students
  • Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
  • Delivering direct therapy services, including teletherapy when applicable
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student progress
  • Maintaining detailed records and documentation in compliance with school and legal guidelines
