School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Dripping Springs, Texas

This position offers a unique opportunity to work as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in an early childhood school setting, serving students from PreK through 5th grade. The role is a contract position spanning the remainder of the school semester from January 6th to May 22nd. Located near Dripping Springs, TX, the worksite is ideally situated at a campus close to Austin proper, providing a comfortable and dedicated workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 45 students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of early childhood learners.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and district guidelines.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to improve communication skills in students from PreK to 5th grade.

Qualifications:

• Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
• Eligibility to work in a school setting, including SLP Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion or valid certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with young students and educational staff.
