Job Type Contract

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed for a K-12 educational setting in Denton, MD. This contract position spans the 2025-2026 school year, from September 2, 2025, through June 17, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language impairments.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals.
  • Document progress and maintain compliance with educational and therapeutic standards.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop comprehensive student support plans.
  • Implement strategies that enhance communication skills across the K-12 student population.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist with ASHA’s Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
  • Experience working with school-aged children across the K-12 spectrum.
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and related educational regulations.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • This position is based in Denton, Maryland, serving a public school district environment.
