A school district in Easton, MD is seeking a licensed and certified Speech Language Pathologist to provide in-person support filling a leave position for approximately 12 weeks starting around February 1st. This full-time contract role serves an elementary school within a K-12 setting, working five days per week (37.5 hours).

The successful candidate will have experience working with students with a range of disabilities including Other Health Impairments (OHI), Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Language Impairments. The caseload will be fluid, typically around 45-50 students, with services primarily provided outside the general education environment to meet individual student needs.

Key qualifications and desired experience:

  • Maryland certification/licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Proven ability to assess, plan, and deliver evidence-based speech and language interventions
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Previous experience supporting students with OHI, Autism, LD, and Language Impairment preferred
  • Comfort working in-person within a school setting; virtual services are not applicable for this role

Responsibilities include conducting individual and group therapy, monitoring progress, documentation, and consultation with teachers and staff to support student communication goals.
