A dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist is sought for a unique opportunity in a K-12 educational setting. This position involves providing crucial support to students requiring speech and language intervention for one hour per week over a nine-week extended school year (ESY) contract, with an ASAP start date. There is a confirmed transition to a full-time role for the 2025-2026 school year, offering a pathway for continued professional engagement and impact within the school community.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY)
  • Previous experience working with K-12 students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student needs
  • Develop and maintain IEPs, ensuring appropriate goals and progress tracking
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions in accordance with IEP requirements
  • Attend faculty meetings and participate in professional development opportunities
