An exciting opportunity awaits for a skilled candidate to support students in a dynamic K-12 educational environment located in San Diego, CA. This full-time position involves working 37.5 hours a week, providing vital communication services to students across various age groups.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working with K-12 students preferred
- Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) is highly desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Location: San Diego, California
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student needs
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and treatment outcomes
- Provide guidance and support to educational staff regarding speech and language development
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
