A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide support across a K-12 school district in the El Centro, CA area, with a specific assignment in Calipatria, CA. This contract position offers the opportunity to work within a diverse educational setting, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade. The role involves a typical Monday to Friday schedule, from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, encompassing a 37.5-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy services to students across the district, supporting a caseload that averages 40 students if shared with another SLP.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student progress and success.
  • Utilize teletherapy techniques as appropriate to complement in-person sessions.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district policies and state regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience in pediatric speech therapy within school and healthcare settings.
  • Ability to effectively manage caseloads typical of a K-12 district environment.
  • Familiarity with teletherapy practices and technology.
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative approach to multidisciplinary teamwork.

This position is contract-based for the current school year, with an immediate start date. The SLP will assist throughout the district, providing critical speech and language services to students in Calipatria and surrounding areas.
