A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Elba, AL, serving a K-12 school setting with a focus on K-8 students and a daycare program. This contract position spans the natural school year (NSY), with a start date of August 7. The caseload consists of approximately 40 students, providing a diverse and engaging environment for professional practice.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP - Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- SLP licensure for school settings
- Experience working with K-8 populations is preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based speech and language interventions for students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to support student progress and school goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school and state regulations
- Provide services primarily to K-8 students and the daycare population within the school district
Schedule and Location:
- Full-time position with flexibility for 3 to 4 days per week
