An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a K-12 educational environment located in Mundelein, IL. This contract position runs from August 18, 2025, to June 5, 2026, and involves working with a diverse caseload of 20 to 25 Pre-K to 5th-grade students, focusing on their unique speech and language needs.
Location: Mundelein, IL
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students requiring speech-language therapy.
- Develop and implement IEP objectives tailored to individual student needs.
- Address various areas including assistive technology, social language skills, and articulation.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and fellow specialists to ensure a comprehensive support plan.
- Deliver insightful and actionable reports based on student assessments and observations.
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) license and Professional Educator License (PEL).
- 1 to 2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff.
- Ability to adapt and problem-solve in a dynamic educational environment.
