This contract position supports students from kindergarten through 12th grade, providing essential speech and language services to enhance communication skills and promote academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support integrated therapy approaches.
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate services.
Desired Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
- Experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in educational settings, preferably K-12.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders.
- Ability to engage effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
