A K-12 school in Elk Grove, CA, is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full school year contract. This role offers the opportunity to work with pediatric and school-aged populations within a dynamic educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ needs
  • Provide targeted therapy sessions to address speech and language goals
  • Monitor and document student progress with accuracy and consistency
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care
  • Involve and educate families in the therapy process to enhance outcomes

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain state licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
  • Active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology required
