This opportunity is for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive evaluation and therapy services within a K-12 school setting in Elk Grove, CA. The role is designed for the upcoming school year on a contract basis, focusing on delivering high-quality speech and language interventions for children and adolescents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations for students presenting speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Provide engaging therapy sessions targeting specific speech and language goals
  • Monitor and document progress regularly to adjust treatment strategies effectively
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of educators and healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care
  • Involve and educate families to support therapy objectives and reinforce language development at home

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is highly valued
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and team members
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting
  • Active licensure approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology in California is required
