A K-12 educational setting in Elk River, MN is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to support students with diverse communication needs. This contract position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality speech-language services throughout the current school year (CSY).
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.
- Delivering speech-language therapy to students in a school-based environment.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support student communication goals.
- Documenting progress and maintaining compliance with school and state regulations.
- Utilizing teletherapy methods when appropriate to extend therapy reach.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) for SLPs or relevant credentials for SLPA.
- Experience in healthcare, pediatrics, and school settings preferred.
- Familiarity with teletherapy service delivery models.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for SLPs, if applicable.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
