This opportunity is ideal for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist interested in providing specialized services within a K-12 educational environment. The role involves supporting students in middle and high school settings, with a caseload designed to enhance communication skills essential for academic success.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Nebraska state license
- SLP credentials including Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), pediatrics experience, and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion preferred
- Experience working in school settings with K-12 populations
Position Details:
- Contract duration: 8 weeks, starting in January
- Work schedule: 4 days per week
- Services provided both onsite and virtually
- Assignment focused on middle and high school students
- Location: Elkhorn, Nebraska
Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat speech, language, and communication disorders among students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school and state regulations
- Deliver evidence-based interventions tailored to individual student needs
