A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide services in a K-8 school setting in Elyria, OH. This contract position runs from ASAP through the end of the school year and offers a schedule of 7 hours per week on a flexible day once per week.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology within healthcare or school environments
- Ability to deliver effective teletherapy services is preferred
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is acceptable
- Comfort and skill providing therapy services to students from kindergarten through 8th grade
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech-language evaluations and screenings for K-8 students
- Delivering individualized therapy sessions per student IEPs both in-person and via teletherapy as required
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals
- Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory standards
