A school district in Denver, CO is seeking two full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the 2025-26 school year. These are contract positions supporting elementary schools with specialized academic programs.
Position Details:
- Location: Denver, Colorado
- Schools: One position at an elementary school supporting a Moderate Academic Support program; one position at an elementary school supporting a Significant Support Needs center-based program
- Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload: Approximately 35 students per SLP
- Duration: Contract for the 2025-26 school year
- Interview Date: June 20
- Candidates: Open to both certified SLPs (CCC) and SLP Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) candidates; SLP Assistants (SLPAs) are not being considered at this time
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility as an SLP Clinical Fellow
- Experience or interest in working with students requiring moderate to significant academic and support needs
- Ability to manage caseloads of approximately 35 students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary school teams
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary students with diverse communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and participate in assessment and reporting
