School-Based SLP | Eugene, Oregon

Located in Eugene, OR, this contract position within a K-12 school setting offers an excellent opportunity for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support the communication development of school-aged children. The role focuses on delivering high-quality speech and language services throughout the contract school year (CSY).

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students presenting with speech and language disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.
• Provide targeted therapy sessions aiming to improve communication skills.
• Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and treatment outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, counselors, and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive student care.
• Engage families by educating and involving them throughout the therapy process.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Oregon.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
• Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is highly desired.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact successfully with students, families, and staff.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology is required.
