Exciting opportunity for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist seeking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of elementary students. This role offers the chance to work in a supportive educational environment focused on fostering communication skills among young learners.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active or pending Missouri SLP license, with the ability to apply for one
- ASHA certification is a plus, but Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, though not required
- Strong skills in developing IEPs, assessments, and treatment documentation
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students’ communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports as required
- Provide direct and indirect services to a caseload of 30-40 students across two elementary schools
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
