A Speech Language Pathologist is needed to provide essential speech and communication services within a K-12 school setting in Fabens, TX. This full-time contract position offers the unique opportunity to make a significant impact on students ranging from PreK to 12th grade, with a primary focus on high school students who have experienced a full year without speech therapy services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and student needs.
  • Manage and address a caseload that includes backlogged cases, providing support to students who have missed therapy.
  • Organize and maintain detailed communication records and complete necessary documentation and cleanup.
  • Work directly on-site supporting students in one or two locations depending on assignment, with caseloads of 40 to 64 students.
  • Collaborate with educational staff to ensure continuity and progress in communication skills development.
  • Serve a diverse student population requiring both assessment and intervention in speech and language.

Qualifications:

  • Valid State Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a school setting.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage a large caseload and administrative responsibilities.
  • Ability to provide full-day support; part-time candidates considered only if full days can be worked.
  • Bilingual skills are beneficial but not required.
  • Comfort working with both PreK-8 and high school populations.
  • Commitment to start as soon as possible and continue through June 12, 2026.

Location: Fabens, TX — situated in the Lower Valley region south of I-10 for the high school caseload, and northeast of I-10 for the K-8 caseload option.
