A K-12 educational setting in the Bay Area is seeking a dedicated speech-language pathologist to join their team on a contract basis for the upcoming school year. This role primarily supports students in pre-kindergarten through elementary grades, delivering on-site speech-language therapy services. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, offering flexibility to fit professional preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in grades PK through Elementary.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student communication needs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with school staff to integrate speech-language goals into classroom activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC), Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CF), or School SLP certification.
  • Experience working with young children, especially within a school environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and school personnel.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based therapy services.
  • Ability to work on-site within the Fairfield, CA area.
