Professional staffing agency seeks an experienced individual for a contract position in a K-12 school setting located in Oakland, ME. This role is focused on providing high-quality speech-language pathology services to students, ensuring that each child receives the support they need to communicate effectively.
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC).
- Previous experience working in school settings.
- Strong assessment and intervention skills.
- Ability to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of current best practices in speech and language therapy.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement appropriate therapy plans tailored to individual students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and progress reports.
- Provide direct therapy services as well as consultations regarding student needs.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities.
